Why not become an inspector and help improve our services.

Become an inspector

A Customer Inspector is a volunteer who will help to check on services being delivered by BCHT.

Any customer can become a Customer Inspector; BCHT tenants and leaseholders, owner occupiers, businesses and people living in the private rented sector. If you have an interest in making neighbourhoods and communities better you can become an Inspector.

Why do it?

You get the chance to:
§       Become involved in improving the services received by BCHT customers
§       Work to improve the quality of life for people throughout the district
§       Learn new skills and improve confidence
§       Meet new people in a friendly environment
§       Attend meetings where refreshments are available

Customer Inspectors:-
§       Help to improve services that BCHT provides to Customers
§       Check all work is being done to an excellent standard
§       Report their findings to BCHT and recommend any changes or improvements
§       Check services provided by BCHT and their partners meet any existing quality standards

Customer Inspectors will carry out mystery shopping and reality checks:

§       Mystery shopping is where inspectors pose as customers and evaluate the standard of service they receive against an agreed quality standard, for example, evaluating how telephone calls are handled
§       Reality checks involve checking whether the reality of a service provided matches its description, for example, how clean and tidy an estate is
