Wycliffe Gardens play area consultation
During the Neighbourhoods Team’s recent consultations, both children and adults raised concerns that there are no safe play areas in Wycliffe Gardens. Therefore we have sent out a questionnaire to all residents surrounding the Wycliffe area so that we can gage the level of need for this idea.
Once we have gathered all this information we will look at your responses and feedback a summary to all residents of the views and comments received.
In the event that there is widespread need and support for this initiative you will have the chance to influence the final proposals. It may not be possible to deliver everything you ask for, but we are keen to take account of everyone’s views. So watch this space!
If you haven’t yet completed your questionnaire then please do so as soon as possible! The Neighbourhood Team can come and collect your questionnaire if needed.
Cliffe Gardens access path closure consultation
In December 2006 a questionnaire was posted to all residents at Cliffe Gardens regarding the Access path leading across Cliffe Gardens to the woods. We asked residents to decide how we should prevent access from non residents. Two different solutions were identified, however for any of them to be considered we required a 100% agreement from all residents.
The responses we received were collated and carefully analysed. Unfortunately the opinion on how to tackle this matter was very much divided, with no clear way forward identified. Therefore we are at this time unable to pursue this issue. The path will remain open for anybody to access (despite signs to the contrary).
Many Thanks to everyone who completed and returned the questionnaire to the Neighbourhood Team.
Should any Cliffe Gardens residents wish to speak to someone regarding this matter, please feel free to contact a member of the Neighbourhood Team.
Woodend Crescent redevelopment consultation
In October 2006 a questionnaire was posted to all local residents around the Woodend Crescent area. The questionnaire was designed to hear the views from people who currently live in the area and to gage their opinions on what they would like to see happen on the Woodend Site.
All responses received have been passed onto our Asset Management section who will be working with chosen developers in delivering the future plans for the Woodend Crescent area. Local residents will continue to be updated.
