The Bradford Disabled Persons Housing Service (DPHS) is part of the Bradford Community Housing Trust Group. They are a specialist housing advice and assessment service for adults, young people and children who have physical disabilities or complex health needs.

The services are provided free of charge, regardless of income, tenure and age.

If you want to talk to someone about special housing needs then you can contact the DPHS on 0845 120 8163.

How to apply to the DPHS

You can register online by visiting www.bradfordhomehunter.co.uk.
If you haven’t got a computer at home you can always call into your local housing office, library or B-Direct to use one of theirs.

Alternatively, you can ring the HomeHunter hotline team on 0845 166 2000.

There are no paper application forms to complete initially.

What happens next?

Once you have registered on our Homehunter system, you will be contacted within 14 days about your application. We will then need you to provide us with details of your health or disability needs.

Home visits are available to assist you if you are housebound.

We will then write to you with our decision within 28 days of the return of your assessment form.
